What's happening on the water

Regattas Yo Club puts a crew together for. The Andaman Sea season runs from November to April: in December the Phuket King's Cup, the King of Thailand's Cup, in Phuket; in January the Royal Langkawi International Regatta in Malaysia; in March The Bay Regatta among the islands of Phang Nga, Krabi and Phuket.

You don't need your own boat. Each regatta page has the dates, the venue and what it takes to take part, and the ones open for crew have an “I want to crew” button: you share your experience and a contact, we find a boat and a role and name the budget before any payment. On a cruising boat a first-timer gets a clear job under the skipper; the Yochting school online course and practice help you get the basics in before the start.
